Mary & Mitch wanted to capture the quiet intimacy of their wedding day. We met an hour before their ceremony to capture just the 2 of them on their special day. They wanted to “prioritize calm, peace, and intimacy over dramatic fanfare” that can sometimes accompany a wedding ceremony. Mary describes their relationship as grounded, laid back and easy going and their day absolutely reflected that! I just love partnering and hearing your story and then capturing YOUR unique story!! Their small ceremony with some close family at the Elmhurst Art Museum followed with the museum and a gorgeous sunset as the back drop. Thank you Mitch & Mary for inviting me to capture your day & CONGRATS!!!
Mary shared, “I am absolutely obsessed with these photos!! We’ve already shared them with our families and we all agree that all the photos look phenomenal. “
Love this work- thank you friends for inviting me in!

[…] Mary & Mitch were married just over two years ago in a small ceremony and they invited me back to photograph their reception celebration this past weekend. They both looked absolutely fabulous (hello gold sparkles – I see you Mary!). Their friends and family came out to celebrate their marriage for their reception at the Elmhurst Art Museum which holds special meaning to them as they were married there and walked through the galleries for so many dates in the years prior to their engagement. The reception was a blast and I am so grateful I was invited to document both these special days- Thanks Mary & Mitch and blessings on your lives together. […]
