“we find beauty in the most unexpected”

Stephan reached out to me to ask if by chance I could capture his surprise proposal to Judith surrounded by a few of her close family members. I wanted to so badly to make it happen despite having been booked on weekends for months. When I asked more we realized he was actually planning it at the exact location (WaterFall Glen) I would be at already for a sunrise Family Lifestyle Session the same day and so we made a few adjustments to make it work. There was a bit of excitement as they went to a different entrance then we originally planned resulting in my RUNNING through the forest preserve all gear in tow to make sure I caught it but WHEW! I made it and it was so much fun to see her reaction and her family being there to congratulate them both. Judith’s sister had shirts made for her kids to encourage a positive response. Right after the proposal we explored more of the forest preserve and captured their engagement images.
