Joy of Joy Mitchell Photography reached out to me after a mutual friend had posted some of my work. We immediately connected and vibed and decided we should partner to capture each other. I love collaborating with other creatives- especially female creatives- because I refuse to live in the scarcity mindset! We all rise when one rises and every time I work with other photographers we both are stretched and become better. Women encouraging others to pursue their dreams and goals is my absolute JAM!

Joy describes herself as a “mixed bag between being organized and rigid and a creative.” Her eye for lines and attention to detail make her work unique. She desires her clients “to be their best selves and feel comfortable behind the camera.” She is getting vulnerable by allowing herself to get behind my lens and do the same. When I sent Joy her gallery she texted me, “Wow- I’m amazed. These pictures are so dope! Thank you- thank you!” AND that is why I love this work.
