The Ladies of Team Shine Zyia
Annie reached out again to capture her growing team of women sharing activewear they love & building a business on their terms! I am a hype women for all women building businesses and was so pumped to be invited to capture them. I was able to capture some of these ladies last year & love the vibe of their team and how they celebrate and encourage one another. We need more of that and I am here to capture it! Annie shared “working with Hawa Images was a total and complete gift. You know when you get to be around someone who is in their element, someone who is using their gifts and talents to do something they are incredible at? It’s magical. That’s what it’s like to work with Roxanne. Everyone had individual pictures taken and we also did group shots. Let’s be real for a second. Unless you’re Beyonce, having your individual pictures taken is awkward. But that’s only if your photog isn’t blaring music and starting up a dance party between pictures! Roxanne instantly put everyone at ease with her FUN nature. She made everyone feel comfortable, loosen up, and be who they are. Managing a group of our size is not easy and I was a little nervous going in, hoping we’d be able to figure out how to capture our big group. Rox handled it beautifully. The photo shoot was a total blast. And then you should see the 400+ edited images she gave us. They are stunning, they capture personalities perfectly, and they showcase the best of all of us. What a privilege it was for me to gift this session to my teammates. We all left feeling uplifted, encouraged, and proud of who we are as Team Shine Zyia. And the credit for that goes to Roxanne, who set the tone for this incredibly uplifting session together.“
