“Kye in the moment”

“You can find Kye everyday playing music in the band room and Kye plans to study Music Education in college,” Dawn, Kye’s Mom shared that she wanted to photograph “Kye in the moment.” It is so clear that Kye is passionate about music, especially playing the marimba. It was a perfect opportunity to work with the local high school to allow us to tell part of Kye’s story. Kye is also passionate about Girl Scouting and has volunteered over 450 hours at camps to lead others. It was a privilege to see how much Kye adores playing music and be invited to photograph Kye in this important season. They were both were also amazing when the weather was not cooperating- only time in 7 years I had it hail in the middle of our session but we made it work! Thanks Dawn & Kye.

Kye’s mom shared, “Through 3 hours of wind, rain, hail & snow, canceling and then coming back out we had so many laughs. Mission accomplished!!
