Dear Mama,

I get it. You really want family photos but it all seems like too much and so stressful. I know you’ll be running around last minute trying to find an outfit that matches or that your kid will fall the day before and skin their knee or your teenager will roll their eyes the entire session or you will be worried about getting everyone else first and not have enough time to actually curl your hair like you planned.

Do it anyway. It is not about having the perfect images. It IS about you being present and with your family and allowing me to photograph the beautiful mess that is your right now.

I also know you might wait and wonder if the photographer got even one good photo but I promise if you trust the process, we will create something special.

As a Mama of four I get it. I get it because I have felt and feel all of those things too AND I do it anyway because I have learned that it is more important to photograph my right now than to make my right now seem perfect. Embracing our one beautiful messy life is what matters.

When you book a session with me, I am all in to help you. I will help you plan and decide location and then I will work so hard to craft images that tell your unique and special story. Your life and my life is a beautiful mess and that makes it worthy of photographing and I would be honored to partner with you.
