Horizon Benefit with Foster Progress

Foster Progress celebrated their annual Horizon Benefit on April 29th in Chicago and raised over $110,000 to help make the college dream come true for youth who have experienced foster care. The night included great food and drink, celebrating the staff and volunteers and donors that allow Foster Progress to continue their great work as well as a silent auction, dance performances, live music and the night ended with dancing!

Foster Progress empowers Illinois youth currently or formerly in foster care to attain a college degree and transition into adulthood successfully by providing mentorship, advocacy, and educational opportunity. I was honored to photograph their event and will continue to support the work of the organization.
