a blue dress legacy

Katy and Katy’s mother both had photographs taken wearing this blue dress and they wanted to continue the family tradition again with Kaylyn. A few years ago I was invited to photograph her older sister Ary wearing the dress and we wanted to recreate but also allow Kaylyn to just be her in the dress so we allowed her just to play and photographed her being her. It was a joy to continue partner with this family to photograph this family legacy. I feel so grateful to be invited into your family’s special traditions.
