What a gift to see a a precious baby girl grow into a beautiful, wise, and discerning young woman. I have had the privilege of knowing Ava since she was born because her mother Kim is a dear friend. I adore their family and when we met a coffee shop before our session I teared up seeing Ava on her Senior Creative Portrait session day. She is a wise beyond her years young woman and it was an absolute blessing to photograph her for her Senior Portraits. Ava shared, “I want to share my excitement about this new adventure- the joyous excitement that I get to do grown up stuff.” She wanted color, texture, and a more urban feel for her session and she loves “music and playing piano, art, going on adventures and I am inspired by and drawn to learning about different cultures by doing things like learning Arabic. I love to read and paint because it allows me to jump into new stories.” Her curiosity and determination has and will serve her so well in life.
We focused on allowing her to feel comfortable and shine in her own story! And shine she did!! Praying blessings and cheering you on Ava!
Kim posted this after our session and THIS is why I love my work so much. It is not just about images- it is about you feeling celebrated! Let’s partner.
