Mayor Jessica Day

It was such a full circle moment for me to partner with the mayor of my community of Knightdale Jessica Day. Before moving to the Raleigh area my husband sent me a video of her speaking and we absolutely loved her vibe and started researching more about the community of Knightdale- we love the diverse and Black leadership here and started looking into moving to the area! When she booked a discovery call and then a session I was so excited for the opportunity to help her celebrate her birthday, highlight her local leadership and community, and her business and coaching through Willow Oak Consulting.

Mayor Day shared, “I want clients to feel comfortable to be able to share their personal challenges. I also want my clients to feel that I am knowledgeable and able to help guide them through their challenges to find an insightful and strategic solution. I want them to say that I execute with excellence. I love the idea of learning and sharing what I am learning. I love the moment when someone I am working with, either individually or in a group, has an aha moment or gains a new insight. I love to see others grow, and it means even more when I can be a part of their growth. It inspires me as well when I can help teams or organizations take many different ideas and develop them into a strategy and execute on that strategy. I enjoy helping groups find ways to work together better.” I have had the opportunity to attend her workshops and her collaboration and leadership is a gift to our community.

Jessica Day is a multi-passionate leader and we wanted to diversify her imagery to show more of the complex leader and woman she is an stepping into online. It was a joy to partner and celebrating her leadership in Knightdale!
