I have always been fascinated with environmental portraiture ever since I started my photography journey overseas. Your  surroundings are absolutely part of the story.

Since we moved to North Carolina we love noticing the trees and the beautiful landscapes but every time my daughter and I passed this old, rundown gas station covered in graffiti and overgrown with weeds and flowers there was something about it we loved. One day we decided to stop and take some photos.
