Race for Refugees with World Relief Durham

Photographing the World Relief Durham’s first Run for Refugees 5k on October 26, 2024 on Duke University’s East Campus was such a blast. “Right now there are over 120 million people around the globe who have been forced to leave their homes. Threatened by extreme persecution, violence, and oppression, they left behind everything familiar to seek a life free from fear. For some, their refugee journey ultimately leads them to our very own neighborhoods.”

World Relief invited supporters, clients, and the community to come out and run a 5k to make an impact on welcome! You can join the welcome in action here. I am grateful to partner with World Relief Durham to help them share stories of impact with the community so they can extend their welcome to even more clients and serve more volunteers.
