Kenneth Mason Jr. is a CPA with a passion for community, growing small businesses, and building equity through his Chicago based accounting firm Equibis. Equibis has a vision “to provide the financial expertise and guidance to small business owners in or from underserved communities that often are only afforded to large corporations.” Kenneth shares, “We are an accounting firm established from urban roots and our mission is to improve our community and increase social and financial equity. We are of and for the people and the businesses in our community.” I loved partnering with Kenneth to capture images representative of his vision for his company, “we are experts but not just suit and tie experts but down to earth and hoping to impart wisdom that we’ve gained from our experience.” He hopes small businesses that want to transform their business to grow stronger, better, and faster will reach out to Equibis.
