JJ described himself as “gritty and rough” and I think you need both to thrive in the world but I must also say he is also fun! We decided to split our time for his Senior Creative Portrait session between his high school and a downtown area near him. I love that for these sessions we get to choose how best to tell YOUR STORY and love partnering to find ways to do just that. I also photographed his sister Kayla’s Senior Portraits 2 years ago so it was a gift to be invited be this family again to partner together. When I asked what JJ would be doing on a Saturday he shared, “I would be putting in the work to grind at the gym to make myself better and to be a better person.” Love that- all the best in college JJ!
JJ’s mom Melanie sent me this text message after she received his gallery: “Oh my goodness! You’ve out done yourself! The pics are absolutely incredible. Thank you so much! You’re incredible!” THIS is why I love my work so much- thank YOU for inviting me to photograph these important seasons in your lives.
