Baby Prince arriving soon!
I met Erin & Tryce last year at the the Joy & Justice Conference and it was such a blessing to be invited into this amazing time in their life as they await the birth of their first child. Being pregnant during 2020 has no doubt had many challenges in addition to the newness and excitement of having your first baby. I am so glad we took the time to capture their growing family in their new city of Chicago. We met in a park but I also talked them into a quick detour to capture the backdrop of right now in the city. These beautiful people remind me of the quote, “Black joy is an act of resistance.” I have often heard this quote but cannot find the exact source but am grateful for the opportunity to capture this beautiful family. Baby Prince will join them in just a couple months and it is clear he/she is already adored.
Roxanne, we can not thank you enough for capturing such a beautiful time in our lives. 2020 has definitely not been an easy one but these photos remind me of the restoration of Jesus. we had the BEST time with you and love how you directed us and made us feel so comfortable and making us look flawless! WOW! I already told you, but we have officially designated you to do all of our family pictures, for forever! THANK YOU. the most beautiful pictures. just crying!!!!
