Barre3 in Clarendon Hills is a welcoming and innovative studio and community. Mariel Pain is the studio owner and is so passionate about seeing their clients “become a part of the barre3 community and change their relationship with exercise to taking care of themselves from the inside out.” Barre3 combines strength conditioning with cardio and mindfulness. I was invited to join classes before partnering to help them share their story and I described it as a “mindful workout with a spiritual boost.” Mariel shares, “we help our clients feel balanced in body and empowered from within. We are rebels in the fitness industry where we focus of how exercise makes you FEEL rather than how it makes you LOOK.” It is an uplifting and hopeful place that welcomes and encourages everyone to embrace that their body is good and resilient. You need to check out barre3!
I’m a visual storyteller photographing emotion, connection, and the beauty in the messy.
I work with families, couples, and bold individuals to tell their stories with heart—
and partner with nonprofits and purpose-driven brands to share their impact with intention, dignity, and excellence.
