Vegas with my squad
In April I had the opportunity to head to Vegas again for an earned trip with some amazing friends. This year was so special as there were more women that also earned this trip and I treated them to a day of photography in some pretty beautiful locations. More about our small but amazing team of women on my personal website. I was even able to be in a few images too because my fabulous husband joined on the trip to support me; I do not take this for granted because it is a gift to have his encouragement on the entrepreneurship journey.
These women are unique, strong, & wicked smart business owners and I am so grateful to collaborate together and celebrate each other’s wins!
We visited the Valley of Fire State Park, Seven Magic Mountains, and we had a private session at the Neon Museum that I busted out my favorite pink sequins pants EVER! Storytime about the pants: On our recent trip to Clarksdale Mississippi my older girls wanted to hit up some local shops and we walked into a small clothing boutique and I saw these crazy pink sequin bell bottoms. IO knew I was heading to Vegas and decided to try them on. When I came out of the dressing room I was wondering outload if they were just “too much” (Ahem- definitely!) and the shop owner said “honey- you need those pants and you don’t need any special reason to wear them- if you want to wear those to Walmart on a Monday and people look at you you just tell them “I only got one life to live.“ It was at that moment she fully spoke to my heart and I knew the pants would be coming home with me. Zero Regrets- WEAR THE PANTS and DANCE friends!
I teared up watching these clips when I got home from a recent trip to Vegas. Encouragement matters. Everyone should have a hype squad cheering you on. Our trip was full of fabulous photo sessions with women I now count as friends.
Helping women see themselves as the beautiful creation they are is my favorite part of my work & I’m so grateful.
