I absoutely adore partnering with organizations doing great work in the world and the ongoing partnership with the SCA is so much fun!! I recently had the opportunity to photograph a tree planting with some special guests.
The Student Conservation Association shared, “ We ended Earth Month with a bang! On Sunday, April 28, we hosted a tree planting at Proksa Park in the Berwyn neighborhood of Chicago. The event drew over 70 volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to help plant 30 new trees, including Aerie Real Foundation Ambassador Aly Raisman, gold medal gymnast and advocate, SCA CEO & President Lidia Soto Harmon and Morton Arboretum President Jill Koski.
Planting trees is a powerful way to beat extreme heat, purify our air, and enhance public health and well-being.
Together with the Morton Arboretum and Chicago RTI, the Berwyn Park District and the Berwyn Tree Canopy Initiative, we were able to bring trees to a neighborhood where they’re needed most so that the community can enjoy their exceptional benefit. Thank you to the Morton Arboretum for providing the trees and supporting their proper planting and care, as well as to all of the dedicated volunteers and staff at work for the planet.”
I’m a visual storyteller photographing emotion, connection, and the beauty in the messy.
I work with families, couples, and bold individuals to tell their stories with heart—
and partner with nonprofits and purpose-driven brands to share their impact with intention, dignity, and excellence.
