Our family trip to NYC over the 4th of July was an absolute blast. Seriously the timing was PERFECT for this trip because our teens loved the city and were able to take the subway and adventure all day long (as long as we kept the food and coffee flowing).
Happy 24 years of marriage to us.
This family is my biggest blessing: the chaos, the hard, the fun, the tears, the laughter, and the togetherness. So grateful for such an epic week in NYC!
Some highlights from the trip:
Meeting up with cousins!
Chaos in Time Square & matching I heart NYC shirts plus the twirl vide as a family
9/11 Memorial Museum– hard but so important
Fireworks near the Manhattan Bridge and cramming in the subway with EVERYONE in NYC!
Broadway show: MJ the Musical & nice dinner before at Toloache
Exploring the Highline
Bartering for bootleg goods on Canal street and lunch in Chinatown
Dumbo Brooklyn and walking across the Manhattan Bridge
Walking out and seeing the city at the Edge and walking through Hudson Yards
Eating at the Chelsea Market– everyone got to choose their meal!
Seeing the new Floating Island
And exploring the various neighborhoods of NYC!
