Vibrant women in Vegas

Once I knew I was traveling to Las Vegas for a work trip I knew I had to set up a styled shoot at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas with some fabulous women. Janay and Annalea were on board with the vision of an encouraging women empowerment session- we had a soundtrack and offered encouragement and love to one another- these are some of my favorite kinds of sessions!

Tips for a great Portrait Session:

  1. Prepare Share your vision with your photog (I do a questionnaire & phone consult with my clients and send tips too to help you think about wardrobe ahead of time- choose something you feel confident in)
  2. Let Go! As much as you prepare once the session starts- let go and just have fun! It will show trust me!
  3. Dance it Out. Biggest tip: Move- no static posing! Have a soundtrack (I make playlists for sessions because it helps my clients feel less awkward and just have fun.)
  4. Embrace Encouragement. (speak words of life over each other- I LOVE complimenting and telling my clients just how amazing they are! Embrace it and feel great- confidence is powerful!)

And I was able to get in a few shots myself because this location WAS AMAZING- I live for bright colors and textures!! Celebrating each other on this shoot was a true gift. Thanks ladies!
