Dating During a Pandemic

Anna told me “I always told myself that I would never go on a dating app, let alone actually date someone from dating site!” You know how this story goes- never say never because she met Justin on Hinge and the are an amazing couple who will say “I do’s” later this summer! He was attracted to her because of her thoughtful answers to the questions on the site and , “well she is gorgeous!” Anna blushed when he shared about their connection. They are a gorgeous and vibrant couple and capturing their engagement session was a blessing!

We started our session at a forest preserve because of the meaning for them. When you begin dating during a pandemic your options for dating are limited and they spent a lot of time picking a new forest preserve and walking and talking. In a way when a lot was stripped away from “normal” dating it became just abut getting to know each other. Their first date was spent in a park and they talked for 6 hours! Anna shared, “dating during a pandemic has been different, but a true blessings. Had it been any other time, it would have not been the right time.”

We also explored Glen Ellyn during their session and they were so much fun and willing to dance in alley ways. I love capturing the way they look at each and a peek into their love story right now. Anna & Justin thank you so much for inviting me in & I am so excited to capture your wedding soon!
